Bites & Briefs
As part of its mission to connect researchers and policymakers, promote informed dialogue, and drive evidence-based solutions across a wide range of public policy areas, the Nova SBE Public Policy Institute provides a variety of knowledge products designed to inform and inspire action.
Policy Bites
Policy Bites are a succinct and accessible way we aim to bring together our core pillars of research, education, and engagement. Published regularly, these short texts (bites) present the latest developments in policy research and policy practice, in a format and length that is easy to follow.Â
Briefs & Reports
Policy Briefs and Reports are focused documents that translate research findings or expert analysis on a given topic into clear, actionable recommendations for policymakers. Their purpose is to inform decision-making by presenting a specific issue, explaining its relevance, and outlining possible policy options by incorporating a diverse set of perspectives and sources.
Podcast
Close to the World is a podcast showcasing diverse careers in public policy and international development. These conversations seek to inspire students – past, current, and future – looking to pursue careers in those fields, and to offer practical tips for those getting started. Hosted by Lilian Lehmann, with Filipe Alfaiate, Adjunct Professor at Nova SBE, joining each episode for a debrief conversation.Â
