Nova SBE to Host 9th Linked Employer-Employee Data Workshop

The Nova School of Business and Economics will host the 9th Linked Employer-Employee Data (LEED) Workshop on 26–27 June 2026, bringing together researchers working at the intersection of firms, workers, and data from across economics, management, innovation, and entrepreneurship.

This edition of the workshop centres on two themes of growing policy relevance: productivity and inequality. The focus reflects the research agenda of the Nova SBE Public Policy Institute and the EQUALNovaERA Project, and responds to an urgent need for rigorous, evidence-based analysis of how labour market dynamics shape both economic performance and distributional outcomes.

The workshop is designed to foster cross-country dialogue, drawing on the wide availability of linked employer-employee data across institutional contexts — from Portugal and Germany to Brazil and the Nordic countries. Researchers working with LEED data from any country are encouraged to participate, including PhD students and early-career scholars.
