Meet the NPPI Team

The Nova SBE Public Policy Institute has seen some exciting team developments over the past year, and this feels like the right moment for a proper introduction to the people behind the Institute’s work.

The academic leadership team comprises Luis Cabral (Academic Director) and two Deputy Academic Directors, Pedro Martins and António Nogueira Leite. On the executive side, the Institute is led by Lilian Lehmann (Executive Director), with Carmo Coutinho serving as Programme Manager.

Together, the team brings together expertise in economics, public policy, and institutional management, guiding the Institute’s research, educational programmes, and policy engagement activities.
